We have concluded a 2-year study comparing chamomile, cumin and topinambur (Jerusalem artichoke) plant extracts and stem cell extracts of these plants obtained in Finnish partner laboratories.
We are pleasantly surprised that the extracts of plants grown in Latgale are more active than the stem cell extracts of analogous plants created in the laboratory.
We have realized that our own plants are the most valuable thing we have been given!
Plant stem cells are an excellent technology for the reproduction and use of protected plants, but the composition of medicinal extracts grown in the meadow is much richer in active substances, amino acids, phenolic compounds and water-soluble vitamins.

Implemented project no. 19-00-A01612-000013 "Development and testing of new methods, technologies and solutions in the process of obtaining stem cells of Latvian agricultural plants, creating an innovative solution for their further integration into drinking water".
The goal of the project was to create an innovative solution that allows to find out the most efficient and economically useful technology for obtaining plant stem cells and the use of plant stem cells in drinking water, creating a beneficial effect on the human body, on the basis of which an absolutely innovative product with high added value will be developed - containing plant stem cells drinking water (functional drink), the origin of which is based on local raw materials.
